    The Internet teems with sites for audio listening. I've listed several sites at left.
  • Record in Audacity.
    Set Audacity's recording input to "Wave" (selecting "Wave" from the drop-down list by the microphone icon). Record in stereo by setting Audacity to 2-channel recording: select Edit, Preferences, Audio I/O tab (use the tab key on upper right to access Audio I/O tab if necessary), set Channels under Recording to "2 (Stereo)." Then, record away!

    My favorite downloading site is
    Amazon's MP3 Music. For 99¢ a tune, Amazon MP3 downloading works even on old Windows 98 systems (even if they tell you it doesn't).
